入学資格
2019年4月2日～2020年4月1日までに生まれたお子様
1. 日本国内（学校教育法・第17条）に準ずる就学年齢であること（上記就学年齢以外の方は別途ご相談ください）
2. 日本語による授業が理解でき、基本的生活習慣が身についていること
3. 本校の教育目的を理解している保護者の子女であること
4. 学校からの日本語による連絡が正確に理解できる保護者の子女であること
5. 学校から課された家庭学習を毎回点検、指導ができる保護者の子女であること
6. 保護者が補習校の運営（運営委員、行事運営、係）に参加することができること
入学選考
例年書類審査及び面接を行い合否を決定いたします。
入学後においても学力や行動等で問題があると認められた児童については、退学の対象になる場合があります。
入学申し込み手順
1. 学校見学
学校見学は予約が必要ですので、email（info@cv-js.org）でご連絡ください。
2. 入学申込書による書類提出
入学申込書を、email（info@cv-js.org）または郵送（PO Box 1642 Clovis, CA 93613）にてお送りください。
出願締め切り日：2026年1月11日
3. 学力検査実施・面接実施
日程：2026年1月下旬予定
場所：United Japanese Christian Church（CVJS校舎）
4. 学力検査・面接内容
1. 自分の氏名が言え、ひらがなで書ける。
2. ひらがなで書かれた言葉が読め、その意味が理解できる。（くつ、えんぴつ、ねこなど）
3. 10までの数を理解し数えることができる。
4. 日本語で意思の疎通が図れる。
5. 教師の指示を聞き取り、それに従うことができる。
6. 面接時間中姿勢よく座席に座り、教師の話を聞くことができる、等。
5. 面接結果通知
学力検査、面接結果は郵送にてお知らせいたします。
※上記出願締め切り日以降にも出願を受け付けます。
授業料
入学金：$150
月謝： $140
上記の入学資格を有する者については、児童・生徒の属する人種、宗教、性別、出身国、障害等によって、入学及び入学後の処遇に一切の差別を設けない。
Enrollment Eligibility
Children born between April 2, 2019, and April 1, 2020
1. The child must be of school age according to Japanese domestic regulations (School Education Act, Article17). Those outside this age range should consult with the school separately.
2. The child must be able to understand classes taught in Japanese and have basic life skills.
3. The child must be a dependent of a guardian who understands the educational goals of this school.
4. The child must be a dependent of a guardian who can accurately understand communication from the school in Japanese.
5. The child must be a dependent of a guardian who can check and guide the homework assigned by the school each time.
6. The guardian must be able to participate in the school’s operation (as a board member, event organizer, or on a committee).
Enrollment Selection
Typically, we make a decision on acceptance or rejection based on a document review and an interview. Even after enrollment, a student who is found to have academic or behavioral issues may be subject to dismissal.

2. Submission of Application Documents

3. Academic Test and Interview
Date: Scheduled for late January 2026
Location: United Japanese Christian Church (CVJS School Campus)
4. Academic Test and Interview Content
– Can state and write their own name in hiragana.
– Can read words written in hiragana and understand their meaning (e.g., kutsu (shoes), enpitsu (pencil), neko(cat)).
– Can understand and count numbers up to 10 in Japanese.
– Can communicate in Japanese.
– Can listen to and follow the teacher’s instructions in Japanese.
– Can sit with good posture and listen to the teacher during the interview, etc.
5. Notification of Interview Results
The results of the academic test and interview will be sent by mail.
Applications submitted after the deadline may still be accepted.

Enrollment Fee: $150
Monthly Tuition: $140
