セントラルバレー日本語補習校では、在留邦人子女（小中学部）の学びと成長を支えてくださる教員およびボランティアを募集しています。

本校は文部科学省の教科書と指導要領に沿い、日本語での授業を行っています。運動会や新年会、遠足といった日本の学校ならではの楽しい行事もたくさんあり、子どもたちが笑顔で元気に学べる温かい環境です。

「子どもが好き」「カリフォルニアで日本語や日本文化を広めたい」という想いをお持ちの方、私たちと一緒に子どもたちの成長を見守りませんか？

募集要項

勤務日・時間：毎週土曜日 9:00 〜 14:00（年間38回）
勤務内容：小中学部を対象とした日本語での授業・学校行事の運営サポート
求める人物像：
- 子どもと接するのが好きな方
- 教育に興味・関心のある方
- 日本語や日本文化をセントラルバレーで広めたい方
- 教員経験の有無は問いません。未経験の方も歓迎します。
- 米国内における正規の就労資格保有者

丁寧な研修制度：授業の進め方や教材の使い方など、一から丁寧にお伝えします。
チームでバックアップ：経験豊富な先生方がしっかりサポートするため、ブランクがある方や初めての方も安心です。
やりがいのある環境：子どもたちの「できた！」「わかった！」を間近で実感できる、アットホームでやりがいのある職場です。

ボランティアも同時募集！
日本語を話し、子どもと触れ合うのが好きな方、日本文化に興味・関心のあるボランティアの方も随時募集しています。お手伝いいただける時間や関わり方など、お気軽にご相談ください。

Central Valley Japanese Supplementary School is seeking enthusiastic teachers and volunteers to support the education and personal growth of elementary and middle school students from the local Japanese community.

Our curriculum follows the Japanese Ministry of Education (MEXT) guidelines and textbooks, with all classes conducted in Japanese. We also host traditional school events such as Sports Day (Undokai), New Year celebrations, and field trips, fostering a warm, lively environment where children can learn with a smile.

Hours & Days: Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (38 sessions per school year)
Responsibilities: Teach elementary or middle school classes in Japanese; assist with the planning and operation of school events

Ideal Candidates

Enjoy working with children
Have an interest in education
Are eager to promote Japanese language and culture throughout the Central Valley
Prior teaching experience is not required—beginners are warmly welcomed
Must hold legal authorization to work in the United States
