CVJSから、新春を彩る特大イベントのお知らせです。📢

毎年恒例、地域の皆様が楽しみにされている「2026年 CVJS新年会」が、いよいよ今週末の1月17日に開催されます！今年もスタッフ一同、心を込めて「全て手作り」の温かみあるブースをたくさん用意しました。

🎭見どころ満載！手作りブース＆体験

手作り感いっぱいのブースで、日本の伝統文化に触れてみませんか？

クラフト教室： $5で猫のお面作り、起き上がり小法師（ダルマや馬など）、カードホルダー作りが体験できます。
伝統の遊び：書き初め体験、カルタ、福笑いなど、お正月ならではのアクティビティが勢揃い。
ゲームコーナー： 1回$1で豪華景品が当たる「千本引き」や、オリジナルの「手作りクレーンゲーム」に挑戦！
【新企画】フォトブース： $5で浴衣や甚平を着て写真撮影が楽しめます。素敵な新年の思い出を形に残しましょう。

🎵心躍るパフォーマンス💃

耳と目で楽しむパフォーマンスが会場を盛り上げます。

お箏の演奏ブース： CVJS卒業生による、新春にふさわしい優雅な音色をお楽しみください。
メインステージ： Kevin Village-Stoneさんによる、ネイティブアメリカンフルートと太鼓の幻想的な演奏と、よさこいダンスチームの「サザン」と「うずまる」によるパワフルなよさこいダンスのパフォーマンス。

🎁目玉企画：過去最大規模のサイレントオークション！

今年のオークションはひと味違います。なんと50を超える企業やお店から、驚くほど豪華な品々をご寄付いただきました。ご協賛いただいた皆様、誠にありがとうございます！🙇‍♀️🙇‍♂️

CVJS is thrilled to announce our biggest event of the season to brighten up your New Year!

Our annual tradition, the “2026 CVJS New Year Festival,” is finally happening this Saturday, January 17th! This year, our staff of volunteers have poured their hearts into preparing a variety of handmade booths that offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

Location: UJCC (United Japanese Christian Church)

Fun-Filled Handmade Booths & Experiences
Immerse yourself in Japanese culture at our unique, handmade booths!

Craft Workshop: For $5, you can create your own Japanese cat masks, “Okiagari-koboshi” (traditional tumbling dolls in designs like Daruma or horses), and card holders.
Traditional Games: Experience authentic Japanese New Year activities like “Kakizome” (first calligraphy of the year), “Karuta” (card games), and “Fukuwarai” (Japanese version of Pin the Tail on the Donkey).
Game Corner: For just $1 per play, try your luck at our famous “Senbon-biki” (string-pull lottery) to win amazing prizes, or take a shot at our original handmade claw machine!
[New Feature] Photo Booth: For $5, you can dress up in a Yukata or Jinbei and capture a beautiful New Year memory with a Japanese feel.

Koto Performance: Enjoy the elegant and serene sounds of the Koto (Japanese harp), performed by CVJS alumni.
Main Stage: Experience a mystical performance by Kevin Village-Stone, featuring Native American flute and drumsDance Performance
Enjoy a high-energy Yosakoi dance performance by dance teams “Sazan” and “Uzumaru”
